PhD Student Opportunity!

The Serpentine Galleries are delighted to announce a new three-year funded, full-time PhD bursary for a collaborative doctorate between the Serpentine Galleries and the Centre for the Study of the Networked Image (CSNI) in the School of Arts and Creative Industries at London South Bank University, for a research project titled: From Institution to Platform: Organisational Structures and Arts Practices in Network Cultures.

The practice-based research project will take the form of an embedded study, working with our digital team to develop and deliver new parts of the digital programme, particularly around Research & Development.  Technological innovation continues to challenge the ways in which we work, think and collaborate and in response to this, the Serpentine wishes to develop an art and technology network which will build new bridges between cultural practice, research and innovation, and users and audiences.

More information can be found on the CSNI website, or click here to see an overview of the full person specification.

To apply via UKPASS, please click here.  The deadline for applications is 23 April 2018.
