Launched in 2016 to coincide with the Serpentine’s expanded summer programmes, the Mobile Tours were updated for every new exhibition season until March 2019.
The Mobile Tour offered visitors the opportunity to discover more about our exhibitions. They featured an interactive map to guide visitors between the various Serpentine sites and number look up functionality to find out more about specific artworks in the exhibitions.
The Mobile Tours served as an essential link between the Serpentine and its audience, guiding visitors between the Serpentine Gallery, Serpentine Sackler Gallery and Pavilion and creating user-led experiences.
The Serpentine Mobile Tours were part of a wider digital engagement programme, sponsored by Bloomberg Philanthropies, to engage new audiences, both on site and online, with art, architecture and design and to support the next generation of artists and architects.
